How do you define happiness?
How is happiness redefined across the world?
Is happiness truly universal?
Our group of twenty eight embarked on the journey to Yunnan, China from the 13th to 27th November 2007 to explore the Yunnan villagers take on happiness.
We set foot on the gravel path in Wan Lu Qing and Lu Chong village to interview the villagers on what makes the children and adults happy and the reasons.
The villagers engage in agricultural activities and their main source of income is from the sales of their harvests. Both villages are also under development schemes.
Despite living below the poverty line, these villagers have shown that happiness can be indeed derived from the simplest things.
